Labtec? Don't they make budget computer speakers? Go for the HD500's.

Neither. I don't know about the Labtecs, but the HD500's suck. Don't bother with them. For $25, get yourself some Koss KSC-75's and be happy. They'll sound far better, and are probably the best bang-for-the-buck cans around, period. If you can lay out $65, get Grado SR-60's, and welcome yourself to hi-fi

Tweeter & best buy has sennheiser headphones. dont know which store stocks grado.
but DO listen to both before you buy. you might like the HD 497 and above , or maybe the SR 60 and above.

good luck, happy auditioning.

btw the HD 500 is a fantastic headphone IF you're getting it for 25 bucks. Its easy to drive too, if you plan to use it with a portable, or with a soundcard.

Ok, for the quality/price comparison which headphones would you guys get. Grado SR-60's $69, Koss KSC-75 $17, or the HD500s $25. I sorta prefer cans but I've read great stuff about the KSC-75s.

i say get the HD500s $25 rather than getting a KSC-75 for $17, overall HD500s better than KSC-75. KSC-75 it's something that clip on your ear that make you really uncomfortable, i rather get a MX500 for $17.
