Well I would like a top end full size can to add to my rig but I am having trouble making a decision. I have pretty much ruled out the hd-800 because on my current gear I cannot really even attempt to listen to them properly until I get some more home equipment. Now it is down to a ps-1000 or a ed8...I was wondering which would be the more easily driven phone and I would love to hear impressions from people who have headtime with both cans. Any opinions are welcome as well.

Haven´t listened to the PS1000 but the ED 8 kind of sound great out of my Elite Pro. Listening at about 40% volume on that one

Well I have my Rx now and I hear that is pretty darned good at driving them full sizer's. I remember someone saying they drove the ed8's very well but I have not heard commentary on the other 2. But I need full size cans that I can quickly throw on and off when doing certain things and I rather have the cans before the equipment to drive them.

ED8 is easier to drive... a bit. Also, I expect their much higher reliability and durability than PS1000's. Sound-wise, both impress me, unlike the HD800.
