If leather is thing reason OP wants a headphone, then I can sincerely recommend the ATH-L3000 to the OP. I believe the L3000 will satisfy all of OP's needs

na, i understand faux leather can be just as good, im not only buying the headphones because of that, i mean, its an unpleasant surprise and if id known , id probably be a little less bias when i was choosing. I beleive they fixed the cracking issue too, they used softer plastic that flexed a bit more.
 
and i do understand that faux leather can at some point be better then real one, cost for example but i dunno, its a bit phony like a fake leather jacket or something

but you know, ill give the 598 a whirl after they arrive and then ill see what happens, they still look good and probably sound way better then the 595. ill probably just keep them
