Beyer DT250 are much better for use with a computer than Senn HD580 because:

1) They don't need an amp, while the 580 do.
2) They are forgiving of harsh sources, while the 580 are not.
3) They are closed, so they block out more of the sounds of the PC -- even the quietest PC puts out a lot of fan/drive/CD noise.
4) Finally, I personally find closed cans to be much better for gaming.
