I was looking around for software like Fidelizer that is meant to optimize the PC (stopping services, setting process priorities, core affinity policies, etc.) and there's something called Project Lasso. It's not meant for audiophiles in particular but I'm wondering if there's an existing guide to using Project Lasso with audio playback. I have a single-PC setup and normally run Foobar2000.

Hi, I'm using Fidelizer Audio and Project Lasso on my PC.

Fidelizer is for audio optimisation with Dedicated CPU usage and several options to limit the use of non-audio apps. IMO it has a positive effect on the sound, it's clearer and less muddy. I use it with Hqplayer. On hardware I use a Gustard U18 DDC and Topping DX9, even then Fidelizer seems to make a positive difference.

Project Lasso is not especially for an audiophile use, more for general CPU optimisation. If your CPU struggle in some apps (like demanding games) it could be useful. Didn't notice a difference on the sound output.
