Hi,

I recently picked up an ALO RX for my GS1000s. (Thanks for the tip Eric). It seems like a pretty fabulous match. The RX is able to drive the Grados like no portable I've tried so far. However, I'm still looking over my shoulder at a home amp like a Woo WA6. How much improvement would I gain and in what areas of the sonics? Thanks for any help you can give.

I have mod my RSA XP7 to drive GS 1000.
I use the dedicate power supplie and i have changed the opa in the amp.
This setup is a beat better than RX to drive GS 1000, but NOT Night and Day.
Honestely, i think RX is the best solution to drive GS 1000 excepted if you have a lot of monaie to invest in a High end home amp.
Lets burn the RX more than 100 hours, it' ll become better and better ( incroyable sound stage and details).
Concerning my GS 1000, i owned it since more one year and to be burned it make a lot of time too (more 500 hours ) to give the best.
Nothing concerning Woo WA6 i have never heard this amp, maybe the raptor from RSA 'll be a must have...
