Hi first post here. I couldn't find anything on Soundblaster x-fi mb combined with grado sr60i on the forums, so here I am.
     I was just wondering if the Soundblaster x--fi card was good enough to power the grado sr60i headphones or if i would need to get an amp/dac combo (fiio e7/e9)

I don't know anything about the sound card but I recommend giving Grados some power. They don't need loads but they do need some to really give you all they are capable of. The E7/E9 combo would be plenty of power. Grados do well with tubes as well so something like a hybrid amp such as a Little Dot 1+ would make a great pairing as well.
