Delivered to my door about 5 minutes ago!!!!!!!!!

They come in the regular Grado box with a 1 year warranty sheet.
This is the first time I have heard a Grado so I can't compare it to other models.

Cable seems to be 6' and nice and thick. Comfort is pretty good straight out of the box (very light and not too much of a clamp). Going to give these hundreds of hours before I say too much about the sound but straight out of the box...

1. WOW these things are dynamic!
2. They are bright but don't sound harsh to me.

Pics will have to wait until my roommate gets home from work (he has a Cannon Digital Rebel)!

I can see the wood chamber if I pull back the pad a little bit.

There's a number on the box but I don't see it on the cans themselves.

Headband is vinyl and thin.

OK so the headband is the standard SR225 headband then, no worries.

WOOD!

And if you take the pads ALL the way off, the # might be hiding on the wood somewhere...like they do with other Grados. I doubt the # would just be on the box. Of course you may not want to pull the pads off since wood lacquer tends to stick to those pads and you'd feel like you're ripping your pads the first time you take em off. Don't worry, you won't! Honest!
