My last pair of nice headphones was Hifiman RE262 which only lasted me a few international trips before one of the ear speakers gave out on me.
The fit for those was barely comfortable with small rubber fittings

Now I'm looking to replace those as Hifiman quoted me $40 bucks to repair them.

Can someone refer me to something of that price range or maybe $150-$300 that is longer lasting and can hold up to my travel needs? I take care of my products and never actually banged up those hifimans (guess the quality just suck).

Thanks

Small Ears? Good Sound?

Go for Sennieheiser's MX 271 or 581. They are made for small ears.

I know the 581's are around the mid-range of the MX series, so the sound is good. Although treble reproduction of the 581 is bad, audio distortion on some vocals or if the volume is turned up too high, everything else is only good but not great (bass is just sort of there lol).  But build quality is great though, cables are great quality, volume control kinda weighs the thing down though.

The 271 is the lower end, but I haven't tried that set before.
