Yeah, because those are a function of the chip sets. Would add expense, unless one can be implemented in software?^^ Rare to see aptX Adaptive or any aptX and LDAC outside of FiiO BT/ RX/TX devices and Neckband.
Interesting, looks like Qualcomm and Sony joining up to block SamsungThe cheap Chi do it and now even added Lossless.

Such a shame that we haven't seen a bt neckband from any reputable OEM in years, those from Aliexpress has no dedicated amp/dac or an app... :/
But which dongle to deliver all those beautiful codecs. Ill need a usb hub with just dongles at this point
Someone brought a new neckband out a few weeks ago, it was a known brand but I will need try to remember who.I wonder, is there actually still a market for BT-neckbands?
The notes say performance improvements and this section, "Fixed: a bug that impacted Jabra Sound+ Equalizer setting at 1Khz and 4 Khz." I noticed the sibilance with cymbal crashes and sizzle, would this be the area that affect cymbals?

I have spoke in the Dongle thread many times about this, all it takes is the likes of FiiO to make one with a decent AMP, some spit and polish and their basic App support and try not abandonware after 1-3 firmware's like usual.
For me, battery life is why I consider neckband. Chonky neckband is a big batteryAnd why would you (or anyone) prefer a neckband over earhooks?
Because I do added to more comfort and more battery (I have had multiple pairs of both styles). And why would you (or anyone) prefer a neckband over earhooks?
Awesome! Great graphic!
