Interesting, looks like Qualcomm and Sony joining up to block Samsung 👍
Samsung is a power house with Harmon, AKG and JBL….

Such a shame that we haven't seen a bt neckband from any reputable OEM in years, those from Aliexpress has no dedicated amp/dac or an app... :/

Hmmmm, Elite 10 seems slightly less sibilant since the update. I had switched my EQ a couple days ago to tame it so was not sure. But switched back to my original w signature and it does seem slightly less severe.

The notes say performance improvements and this section, "Fixed: a bug that impacted Jabra Sound+ Equalizer setting at 1Khz and 4 Khz." I noticed the sibilance with cymbal crashes and sizzle, would this be the area that affect cymbals?

Anyone else notice any change in sound? It just seems slightly softer to me... might be placebo and memory bias though...

I wonder, is there actually still a market for BT-neckbands?
Someone brought a new neckband out a few weeks ago, it was a known brand but I will need try to remember who.

I have spoke in the Dongle thread many times about this, all it takes is the likes of FiiO to make one with a decent AMP, some spit and polish and their basic App support and try not let it be abandonware after 1-3 firmware's like usual.

And why would you (or anyone) prefer a neckband over earhooks?

Because I do added to more comfort and more battery (I have had multiple pairs of both styles).

Does it really matter why as I know some here slate them (no doubt you were one of them but the worlds doe not revolve around you) and look at the buggy FiiO Ear-loops esp. the latest one which looks as abandoned as my FW5's (near enough same hardware and same issue for many).

Sure, it affects cymbals harmonics.

Awesome! Great graphic!

OK so my W EQ would definitely fall in the ranges that were stated, so I think they fixed what they realized was causing sibilance. But this are still a bit in the bright side for anyone who hates that... Just not as tiring as it was with the original FW.

It took a while for this update but WELL WORTH THE WAIT!
