Does anyone remember the lovely little Go-Vibes? I have 3 of them and they still stand up well against other amps.

Does anyone remember what voltage the V6 needs? It works at 24V but I'm not certain that this is correct. My memory is telling me 12V.

Anyone know?

Thanks

Of course I do, they sounded great and were inexpensive.

Here is a picture of a V7 to go down memory lane.

Miguel,

Did the V7 run on 24v?

I've heard conflicting reports about the V6 running on 12v or 24v. Mine works fine at 24v but I don't want to damage it so I have gone back to 12.

Go-Vibes were and still are great little amps. I own a V6M as well as a V7 Max.

There's the standard V6 that runs on 12V and then the V6M which is special and runs on 24V. I believe all versions of the V7 are 12V only.

If your V6 is using the AD8610/20 op-amps then it is the 24V M version.

Thanks Ziplock. That's why I've read different things.

Do you know whether the V6 and V6M are marked differently, or do I have to open up to find out?

I'm not sure but I thought the V6M was rechargeable. Mine's not.

Maybe it's safer to stick with 12v then. It's very bright at 24v but it may get damaged!!

Cheers

Ian
