Hi,
How are you ? Have enjoyed ath-m50,rx900,srh440,hd280.
So, thinking to invest around $250 on not my last set of cans :p
Don't want DT150. Confused between those two GM's sets. Would be pairing with iBasso d4 mamba. So which would be the better set for Indian,Hip-Hop,Goa/Psy Trance and Rock music with and without D4 Mamba ?

Thanks

If you need isolation if the 250 Pro is anything like the 450 Pro don´t get that one!

8.35D Monitors isolate nicely so it would work with that criteria. Not listening to much for that genres but the 8.35D Monitors have great bass and are quite good allrounders.

For the 250 you'll need some amp or a minimum sound card, the 8.3000D are 300 ohm so, you'll need something to drive.
The 435 and the 8.35 are 35 ohm, no amp it's necessary, I mean amp and dac sure will help, but you can add them letter if needed.

1)Which pads are you using with 8.35D now ?
2)Are those pads available @ shops like JABEN ?
3)Is 435S better than 8.35D ?
4)If the answer of ^^ is YES, then, would 8.35D sound like 435 S/250 or better with Ear Pads you are using ?
5)You have heard 250,435S and 8.35D. Which are the best with stock pads and how ?
6)Best Buy = 8.300D/8.35D/435S ?

Thanks a ZILLION !!!!

Yes it do get wider on the 435S but German Maestros is just average on this front. Just ordinary stereo headphones shoot the audio straight into your ear channel soundstaging

If you don´t need isolation I would go for the 450 Pro or the 435S. The 450 Pro is a bit less "booring" then the 435S. On the other hand the 435S bass is a bit sweeter.

100 % personal preference what you would preferr anyway. If you want a lot of bass you may preferr the 8.35D monitor despite the smaller soundstage and less air. If you are a treble head the 450 Pro perhaps or if you are sensitive to treble the 435S perhaps....

Russian roulette just pick one
