I noticed that after the outage I lost most of my profile, like headphone inventory, amp inventory etc. Did that happen to most/all of us or just a few random guys?

Now, I haven't got that many headphones and amps to list but what about WertherDVX or Wmcmanus just to name a few. Poor guys.

I just filled mine in again. Took a few minutes but like I said: I just don't own that much gear.

That happened to everybody. Jude posted about it. Since I like reading members' profiles, especially when considering advice offered, I hope folks re-enter the info. One suggestion: I find it really helpful when people include both current and previously owned gear. It gives me a better understanding of where the member is coming from when posting in the gear forums.

Personal profile equipment field data was lost. On the bright side, most of us could have probably updated that information anyway (I know mine wasn't very current).

Jude actually did post that. I missed it.

I too find it very helpful so this thread is a bit of a tactful reminder.

You are smarter than I! I saved cached pages of my profile and feedback when head-fi crashed, but rather than copy and paste...duh...I typed it all in again.

Hehe, smarter than what I did as well. Mine was kinda outdated anyway so it's not that much of a problem.

I am quite sure it happened to everybody.
Jude posted about it on the first day after the forum return.

Many of us needed to update our inventory list anyway.
