Lets say my amp has a HIGH and LOW gain setting.
 
Assuming my headphones are LOW impedance (25 Ohms), what gain setting would I use? (my initial gut feeling is LOW gain, but I have read conflicting info).

Try them both and see which one you like better. It wont hurt the amp either way.
