Some of the funnier idiomatic phrases or bulletin board-isms I've seen:

1.  Fart cannons
2.  MOAR BASS!!!

What are some others that make you smile, grin, or laugh out loud?

The word group/sentence "is bass light". Through experimenting with my set up even so called 'bass light' headphones transformed. It is understandable - my opinion - but actually incorrect and I might have to correct some earlier writings of my self on Head-Fi. "Can sound bass light" is the more correct expression in my opinion. A headphone and speakers need a set up to get the most out of them.

If you get the source and set up right even the DF is bassier than is assumed. "Bass light", if you were to know...

Somebody referred to the DT770 as the Boombeyer. I always thought that one was funny.

Also, it seems that, by default, every headphone has recessed midrange. If I could draw at all I'd do a comic panel with a HeadRoom chart for a headphone showing -20dB from DC to 200Hz, and then -20dB from 4kHz through daylight, and a Head-Fi'er complaining, "It has recessed midrange."
