Everything is possible...
1 There is a place in the article where the author was unable to tighten some of the ear pads and installed thick ones (they are in the photo).
2 in the photo I highlighted in green the apparent differences in the iron part.

The cups certainly seem to be different sizes, but this is really not clear. Probably the author of the article would have said this. He said that the pressure to the ears has become weaker, maybe because of the rubber, or maybe the design is a little larger, for thicker ear pads.

yeah. I'm in Mexico. 16% IVA tax. they include shipping in the calculation. the cheapest I found was $311. would've been $225 if I shipped to a friends house.

Step 3: Measure and cut the solid latex tubing 23cm, you need two. You can play around with lengths between 22-25cm, this is where the tuning happens.

Please tell me, is this tube heavier than, for example, a 7 mm guitar cable?

wow. that headphonesty article brought back memories. my first pair of headphones was almost the mk2 or mk3. I forgot which exactly but do remember the mod scene for t50s was popping back then. popping so much it was overwhelming and I ended up buying beyerdynamic dt770 250o. that and I probably would've needed a more powerful amp because at the time all I had was JDS Labs C5D. I'm going to wait until I get my pair but will probably end up with shure 1540 ear pads. thanks for the links.

Amazon Export Sales LCC is the branch of Amazon taking care of orders for export. What is happening, I believe, is your order gets shipped by the vendor to Amazon Export and then gets shipped to you. There’s 3 vendors you can buy from on Amazon - Alto Music (where I bought my 2nd pair), DigitalDJGear and AVLGEAR. Which one did you buy from?
