Hi, I am new to this forum and have a question. I have the Fostex T40 headphones new in the box. I purchased them back in 1985 and never used them. They have been in the box for many, many years. I took them out of the box and the leatherette ear cushions are starting to crack and deteriorate. The ear cushions still spin freely on the driver housing; however they need to be replaced. I can not find any resources for obtaining new ear cushions for the T40. They have been kept in the box in my non-smoking home and I am not sure why they have started to deteriorate. I am asking for help to find replacement ear cushions for these headphones. Thanks!
