Various Artists - All The People Vol. 1

QT-X / DC-Elite

The Glitch Mob lost a member, started a record label and moved their music forward to an old school rave flavor, blending breaks and jungle for fresh sounds.

This is their first label compilation.

On the road, so I’m down to just a few IEMs and my trusty little Qudelix dongle for the summer. Today, it’s the Symphonium Meteor. While these are usually thought of as bass monsters, the selling point for me is their upper mid and treble range. Truly exceptional.

Yeah, I liked her last album, maybe more than her previous album.
Her brother Finneas also deserve some good praise for his work also, but its natural that Billie is the one people talk about as its labelled under her name and since she is the vocalist.

Yea, Finneas deserves equal credit. Without him, Billie isn't the same artist. They're a fantastic combo together.

Core (1992) by Stone Temple Pilots - A blend of Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains and Soundgarden with great song writing ability, they should have been bigger but were possibly held back simply because of their similarity to those three bands. They certainly write great guitar riffs and Scott Weiland's vocals were up there with the best of them but they also sound great when they quiet things down a bit with class songs such as Creep. The bass / drums rhythm section sound really powerful through the D7200's, loads of low grunt and rumble.
I consider them to be the best of all the grunge bands. 😉 They are my favorite.
Maybe they were more popular here in the states. 🤔

I think you're right about that, their second album, Purple, was the only one to make much headway on the UK charts, reaching No.10. Alice in Chains did about the same but Soundgarden and especially Pearl Jam did much better. After listening to STP most of today I can see why they are your favourite and they have certainly gone way up in my estimation.
