Well every now and then one must go back to the early days of our music experiences. Many songs seem big at the time, but after a time - Enh.
But some stay (to me) - for pop/rock: Norwegian Wood, Case of You, Two of Us, etc... And a bit more forgotten:
Heard on HD-600 w/ BHCs...

Sorry for delay replying, I did see message earlier but got busy I was mid-braiding another cable giggle... I'm so behind on my winter cable project, slack old broken person I amPicture of TA-26 with Brimar & GEC ?
To be honest I chicken'd out and didn't listen to the GEC 6080 in the end, it was a loner and too costly for me to replace/my budget range if in case something went wrong (such as my old broken butter fingers lol) They fetch $1k locally and I bow out @$200 for NOS stuff. I'm retired almost 30 years now, I have limited funds but will keep an eye out for a nifty buy on the GEC if I see it.. The Rare Brimar black bakerlite red print (normally orange or white print I'm told..meh...) is all mine and I do own 'n love.
I have to not spend Xmas is coming giggle...someone smack me... I did just buy the other day a couple 1950's Svetlana ST/coke bottle style tubes out of the the Ukraine which I hope sound and look good being that old ST/coke bottle kind of tube look. The 6080 is a fat little sod lol. Here's a pic of my Brimar black base red print 6SN7GT for those into tube pron though.....
edit update: why did no-one slap me and say STOP Wolf!!! lol I just bought a 5as4 Mullard

Puzzle by dada - a blast from the past, I remember back when this was released (1992) being utterly addicted to Dizz Knee Land - I must have driven the rest of the night shift insane with the number of times I played this album on my rather large ghetto blaster - it sure sounded good though and it sounds rather tasty through my Grados too

Ken Metcalf recommended this Album on one of his Youtube discussions about Jazz. Listening to it for the first time. I like it!

Yup. I B, Hawkwind, Gong, Blue Cheer, Cactus, Magma, Harry Partch, King Crimson, Captain Beefheart, 5uu's, Miriodor, Univers Zero, Thinking Plague....Then some have a legacy that should be yet cannot be forgotten:
My only regret in selling off my vinyl is most of that stuff isn't easy to find on digital, plus on the other side of the solar system: Arturo Delmoni, Sheffield, Chesky, RCA shaded dogs...
I B on HE-5LE w/ mods and lots of EQ just now.

The Fall by Norah Jones (2009)
Maybe not her usual style. But I do like the direction she took in this album. It was very refreshing change.
Tracks are characterized by prominent eats and strong bass. A little electronica-ish background, too. I am also enamored by liquidity in the sound. It oozes, quivers, and melts.
