How do I post on "For Sale" forum?
 
I don't see a "start a new thread" option.

New members cannot post classifieds (see the guide).​
Anyone wishing to post a thread in the For Sale/Trade forums must be a member of Head-Fi for over thirty (30) days, and have over fifteen (15) posts. If you have not met these requirements, you will see "You are over your limit for posting this forum. Please check back later."
 
Your account isn't old enough.

Does anybody know how the trades are done? Do we just trust each other to simply ship the device. Thanks!

Pretty much.Check the other parties seller/trader/buyer feedback and if youre satisfied with it you just ship it and hope you dont get screwed,which does happen occasionally,unfortunately.
