omg! how could u not know mr. rogers? Me and my friends always joke how the kids 4-8 years behind us miss out on good stuff like mr. rogers, teenage mutant ninja turtles, gi joe, voltron, thundercats, etc. Today its like..yugioh, pokemon, etc. (of course the age group ahead of mine always tell of stuff like speed racer, scooby doo, robotech, etc). But everyone manages to know about sesame streeet

TMNT, Voltron, Robotech, GI Joe, man those were the **** back in the day

The only cartoons worth watching now are from Japan and not crap like Pokemon or Yugioh...check out Kenshin, the dub is actually good.

Anyway...at the risk of turning this thread into a discussion of 80's cartoons...yeah Mr. Rogers was better than Barney at least

But Family Guy is coming back on cartoon network!

South Park is also excellent

Social/current events satire + massive hilarity + as far from politically correct as possible == good times for me.

As for anime, cartoon network is doing a good job at showing some decent anime's (Trigun, Bebop, Kenshin, etc) - however I have to disagree with one point, I don't think I've heard a really great dub for any anime series.. ever. I think subtitled japanese is the ONLY way to watch anime, english voice actors just don't have the emotion that the japanese ones seem to, even if you can't understand the words.

Man I miss Transformers, and I know there is a new version but it is crap. I still remember watching the Transformers movie and almost crying when Optimus was killed.
