I'd like to know if anyone use the Elear with the Schiit Vali 2, Asgard 2 or Lyr 2? Those are some amps I'm interested in but suggestions are welcome for amps at around $500 or less.

So, the inclued cable had 2 problems for me:

1. Too heavy
2. Too short (yes, yes you well read)

 
So i commanded a cable with a 5 meters lenght

(3.5mm 5N OCC + Silver Plated Copper Cable)

Yeah if there's one thing I don't like its the huge cable.  I have it where about half is still held in a small loop like it came so its about a 6ft cable they way I have it now but it is a very thick heavy cable.  I wish hp makers would stop making these 10ft or longer cables because I think most people are using these with like a desktop setup and there is no need for such long cables.  I think a 5ft to 6ft (3 meter) cable would be plenty for most people.

There is plenty of heqadphones with short cables though. Ideally they should ship with both a set of cables that could use for portable and desktop and long

Totally agree. Specially at this price point.

For those based in Europe ForzaAudioWorks is an excellent option, I ordered custom Balanced cable at a very good price, they can custom make it for any lenght and also based on preferred sound signature (copper or silverplated) for increased bass or tamed treble
