Focal Celestee (New Closed-Back Headphone)

Hopefully it doesn't have the same issue as the Elegia did for us glasses wearers. The bass response on the Elegia was completely neutered while wearing glasses.
I don't even wear glasses, but the bass presentation of the Elegia was a little too anemic, IMO. It's probably the most "bass light" headphone in my stable, actually. In normal circumstances, I'd pass on the Elegia, but I managed to snag it at a very good price (~$480); plus, it is a decent-sounding headphone, with fairly good detail.

Just over a day left to the "mystery" announcement. I wonder if Focal has any other headphones ready for release, besides the impending Celestee?

Well, it is indeed the Celestee, although it's been spoiled all over the net, way before the actual announcement.

Good color scheme, decent price.

Perhaps I’m wrong about that - Andrew from the Headphone Show made it pretty clear in an announcement video for the reveal live stream that this isn’t another Radiance. Interesting!
My guess is it’s basically a Radiance in different packaging with different tuning as the Radiance was packaged and tuned to the Bentley TOTL Naim system in their cars and not the normal Focal house sound.

I just checked on headphones.com. Both Elegia and Elear are discontinued. I think Celestee may replace Elegia, while incoming headphone will replace Elear.

The Elegia has been discontinued since Q4 of 2020, I believe. The retailers were simply selling off their existing stock at (greatly) reduced prices (I got mine for ~$480).

I doubt it will due to the Radiance being a limited edition due to a collaboration between Focal and Bentley and tuned to approximate the TOTL Naim system in their automobile line.
I could be wrong also.
Does Focal want radiancing while driving?...
