Hey,
I own a pair of PL50s that I quite like, but I've been wearing the same foam tips for 2 years and they're ready to be thrown in the trash. I was thinking about getting some Comply tips because my only complaint with the 'phones was that they would be very uncomfortable after 30 minutes to an hour of being insterted, so I figured if Comply tips are so comfortable maybe they will make these phones perfect! The PL50s have 4mm nozzles, so does that mean if I buy the tips meant for another 4mm nozzle canalphone, the tips will fit without problems? Secondly, I wore the large size tips that came with the PL50s because I couldn't get a seal with the mediums (clearly too small), however, I was just thinking that maybe the cause of my uncomfort is the large tips. Could it be that they are too large for my ears? I was considering buying a new set of IEMs but if I can just get these new tips and be happy with my 'phones again, then that would be the cheapest and best way.
