Hey All,

Just curious if anyone has any advice on fixing some broken IEMs. I've got a pair of Shure 530s that no longer play any sounds. First one ear died, then the other. Not sure what the issue is. They're no longer under warranty. I loved the sound I got from these and would like it if I got to use them again for my runs and when I ride my motorcycle.

Ideally I'd like someone/a shop local (I'm just north of Toronto, Canada) that's willing to give me an estimate prior to the actual work as I may decide they're too expensive to fix. I have no micro-tools so a DIY may not be possible. I'm definitely open to suggestions though!

Much appreciated.

Cheers,

M.

I read here that a member contacted Shure and was able to get an out of warranty replacement for about $240 - $250 on a defective 535. Much less than buying a new pair.... I also remember another member stating they didn't offer that - so you might have to not take no for an answer at first.

Cheers
