Hi everyone (in particular EQ5 owners!),
 
I recently started having cable problems with my beloved e-q5 in the right ear. The problems appear to stem from the part where the cable enters the aluminium unit itself, rather than further down the cable. I tried googling any past instances, but nothing came up. Wondering if anyone on head-fi encountered the same problem, and whether anyone had a creative fix for it!

Try emailing btg-audio to see if they could do a recable for it if all else fails.

thanks for the suggestion! however on his website, he says that he cannot service ortofons =[
