Hello,

Yesterday I just purchased the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro-80s. These are my first hi-fi headphones...the only speakers/headphones I have had up until this point were generic unknown brands that came free with things (software, computers). I want to make sure that my headphones are fully functional and operating without any flaws/defects (before the return policy deadlines hits).

What tests (and/or problems to look for) if any, can I perform to give it a full check-up and make sure *everything* that should be working, is working?

Feel free to give any other advice for a hi-fi and/or headphone newbie that I should know.

Just put them on and listen to some music, or let them burn in for a couple days 1st if you want. If something is worng it will be pretty obvious after listening to them for a litlle bit.
