well, i sent the audioengine d1 back and keeping the schiit modi, so i need a separate head amp.
i have a bravo v2 i'm trying,(always loved tubes),  and planning on trying the magni.
my question is anyone have other suggestions ??
i listen mostly to my a2's, but starting to listen more frequently to headphones.
i currently have sennheiser hd203, which i plan on upgrading as well(any thoughts there would be welcome too !)
thank y'all !

rock, blues, jazz, a little classical, i'm an old hippie, a deadhead
old soul, r&b, 60's-70's era
and the amp you suggested looks a little more substantial than the v2 i'm using now

Since the HD 203's have a low impedance, the LD 1+ is probably a good option. It's a hybrid amp, so it has a low output impedance, providing good dampening for low-impedance headphones. I don't have any personal experience with it, but I think it's my next amp

the modi was returned, so, back to square 1, just looking for the best dac/amp combo, for around $300
listen mostly with my a2's, so dac performance is a bigger concern
i have started listening to my headphones more(hd203),
