honestly though, I think this player should be a huge success, based on this rather long thread and all the feed back you've gotten from the many users here on head fi, I think you guys will totally have a winner here

Oh that sounds good! I am really looking forward to some pictures!! As described in the first post and with good looks, I am definately going to buy the X7! Just add at least 64gb of internal memory and 2 SD slots:)

Can we have the flashy Hugo led ball volume control that changes colors as  you turn the volume up and down?

Just because iRiver used a stoopid 2.5mm socket does not mean that balanced output has to use a 2.5mm TRRS socket. Hirose is a better (but not the only) option

is a MUCH BETTER option, and I would love to see hiRose out, but that's my bias as I own a pb2
