Hi all. I just got a Fiio X3, and it's been a bit hot/cold so far. I'm really enjoying the SQ but have been frustrated with DB issues. Most of my files are AAC and ALAC. Most of them are recognized, but there are a lot of (mostly) ALAC files that have complete tags when I check in a tag editor, but the X3 doesn't recognize all of the tags - mostly the Album and Artist tags. This leads to a messed-up DB on the X3, with lots of songs in the "Unkown" Album and Artist categories.

I was wondering if others have had similar issues with ALAC files and if FLAC might be a better option, although the idea of converting my ALAC collection isn't exciting.
