You can read my FiiO Q7 review which includes a Q7 vs M17 section.
Wow. I should upgrade to the Q7. Or at least wait and see what the Q15 can deliver.

I am also waiting for the Q15 and I will do a comparison with the Q7.Wow. I should upgrade to the Q7. Or at least wait and see what the Q15 can deliver.

The question - will Q7 drive appropriately the low impedance planar headphones like Moondrop Venus, DCA Aeon Noire and so on?
Hi, TheDecline01,Hi there, as it tends to drive comfortably well my HE-6, I will say yes, without a sweat. However, you may have difficulties with the overall sound signature, which is another story.
HE1000V2 also 35 Ohm, so meet specs and 3Watts in desktop mode might be enough. The Q7 does a really good job at powering my HE1000V2's, even at high volume. Just don't expect desktop amplifier performance at the same price point.
Thanks for response, I considering HE6 as one of candidate on aftermarket. And yes, there is no portable alterative to Q7 with the same power on the market today.Well yes, HE6 is above 50ohms of impedance. However, I tend to think that down until 16ohms, every DAP stays in the comfort zone electrically. Under... that'll pull on current, which is not where DAPs are good. However, given the power at 32ohms and the sheer size of the Q7 battery, I would say I don't see any incompatibility.
Besides, if the Q7 can't drive those properly, I can't see of any other portable/transportable amp that could under 1000€.

Dear friend,Hi ! Where to buy a leatherette case for Q7 ? I use Q7 very actively and the case is worn out.
Found only for M17. Is it the right size for Q7 ?
