I use it with IE600s - don't personally have any complaints, am happy with it. Just increase the volume knob slowly - it's a digital implementation that's a bit laggyHi all. how does it work with IEMs? I mean I read a lot of info that the volume knob doesn't increase the sound till the 11 o'clock position and after the volume starts increasing drastically. Does it comfortable to use with IEMs? I will use it mainly with my Fostex T60rp, but sometimes with Fiio FH5s.

WooHoo... been waiting. Thought it was going to be around June. Not seeing anything regarding this info you posted. I knew it was going to be around $250 U.S...Fiio launched K7 BT, RRP ¥1,666.00, slightly more expensive than normal version..
I think is because they launch it for China market first, international later...WooHoo... been waiting. Thought it was going to be around June. Not seeing anything regarding this info you posted. I knew it was going to be around $250 U.S...
why do you need balanced input? just curious. I don't think you will hear any diff between unbalanced and balanced input.I don't care about BT. Balanced Input would be a lot better.
is there any dac/amp that has balanced input at this price point?I don't care about BT. Balanced Input would be a lot better.
Ifi Zen Canis there any dac/amp that has balanced input at this price point?
The iFi Zen Can is only a headphone amp/preamp. Not a DAC.Ifi Zen Can
Just so I can. I also got a standalone balanced DAC.why do you need balanced input? just curious. I don't think you will hear any diff between unbalanced and balanced input.
Click sounds are pretty normal. Those are called relay sounds. Though I haven't experienced any standby timeout yet. Maybe I should try to not shut down it?Anyone encounter the K7 making a click sound then seemingly going into a standby mode with the two front LEDs blinking and no audio being outputted until you perform a power cycle?
Is this some sort of overheat protection perhaps?
