This great thing, have Drive ability: 16 to 100Ohms. Im using on my pc with ath m50x, and its better then my fiio e10k (im selling it). Just amazing and cheap improvement.
And K1 can replace 70% of offboard sound cards, on the market!

Hello, new guy here
Just want to ask if anyone has tried this on a galaxy tab s2 8.0? Planning to buy this to go with mine and using a powered usb hub just ruins the portability for me
I have a tennmak dulcimer and a rock zircon to go with these (bought these due to Headfi forum recommendations
)
Saw a post on a german forum: http://www.hifi-forum.de/viewthread-125-9603.html but not so sure if the K1 was tested on a samsung s2 9.7

Just in case someone is interested to know, I pulled the trigger on the K1 and tested it is working on Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0
. I had tried to test first using my friend's fiio e18 on pc mode to simulate the power draw and it worked so that's when I decided to buy. Sound was very clear and detailed. Also the soundstage is wider but seems to be adding more bass to my already bass heavy tennmak dulcimer
Might be perfect for my rock zircons though

Our testing results shows that the K1 can work with a few models of smart phones. Here's more information: http://www.fiio.me/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=41181
But we have not yet tested it with the HTC10. If there's any store any your locations that sells our products, you may bring you phone there and give it a try. Here is a list of our authorized sellers: http://fiio.net/en/stores
Also sometimes if the phone system is not compatible the DAC directly, you can try to use some apps such as USB Audio Player Pro or HIby Music to access the DAC.

Just wanted to confirm that it works with the Nexus 5X (as already stated once before). I always have to plug/unplug a few times, but then it works perfectly.
Really like the K1 for my Inears, but as expected it is a bit to weak to drive the DT1770 Pro. Volume has to be almost at maximum for normal listening and sometimes I would like it to go louder than it actually can.

Hi,blackhawk2k
Thank you for your kind feedback.
The impedance of the DT1770 Pro is 250Ω. And the K1 is recommended to drive 16~100 Ω so it may be a bit weak to drive the DT1770 Pro.

Doesn't work with the 5S - not sure about other models.

I thought that for a long time too - until I started using the $70 Fiio Q1 with my iPhone 5S and CCK. Volume matched there is a difference. The iPhone 5S is a great sounding device. But I prefer it with the Q1 now.
Total newbie here, rocking an iPhone 5. As far as connecting an iPhone to a Q1, I understand about the CCK, but then for the next in line, can any USB cable be used, or does it have to be an OTG cable? Only, I'm not entirely sure what one of those are....
