Great. Another wireless product from FiiO that needs to go through the FiiO Control App. Maybe consider slowing down hard-product releases before you guys can build a solid software program. The current Fiio Control app is a the definition of a POS which makes it very inconvenient and frustrating to use.

For example, while the latest version of the FiiO app for the UTWS5 lets you set your own PEQ settings but does not give the ability to save custom EQ presets. Every time you start the app, you will need to adjust the EQ. It is so frustrating to have to do that every time.

The EQ functions while decent don't allow for Low Shelf / High Shelf etc. but only peaks. Why not go to 100% for features and functions instead of 80%?

If someone was in the market for a wireless DAC/amp, the Qudelix is a better option. The app continues to get improvements, it is user intuitive, and now allows for a TWENTY (20) band PEQ.

The worst part about it all is that the FiiO app can barely recognize that the UTWS5 is connected despite showing on my iPhone as connected. The TWS solution is supposed to be seemless. Instead, I'd rather carry the Qudelix 5K in my shirt pocket because it just works. Not 20% of the time.

I have been using FiiO products since 2010, with the FiiO E17 Alpen and original K9 amp...and the "Kilimanjaro" mobile amp. Really liked the value proposition and quality back then. Lately, it just seems to push out products for the sake of new product with little innovation or refinement - again, case in point, the FiiO Control App being a sad attempt.

Thanks for the kind feedback.
1. The Q11 is a protable USB DAC but not a wireless product. You would need to connect it to the Android mobile phone via USB when adjusting the setting for it in the FiiO Control app.
2. We failed to reproduce the issue with PEQ you mentioned with the UTWS5. If you are convenient, please contact support@fiio.com with the small video attached. Thanks in advance!
3. As for the low shelf/high shelf feature you mentioned, we have reported to the engineer for assessing. Thanks for the kind feedback.

I been using the Fiio Q11 my self for over a week now with my other pair of headphones. Waiting on 4.4mm balance cables i ordered before I use my sundara completely with it. Works great so far without any issues with my desktop. But I do wish there was a way to get at the settings with a PC without having to disconnect the Q11 from the PC and then to a Android phone just to get at the settings in the Fiio Control app. Is there any plans for a optional Fiio Control app for windows 10/11 that let you get access to those same settings that you normally have to plug the Q11 into the phone to get? That way one doesn't have to plug the Q11 from their desktop into the phone to switch the settings around.

Also is their plans to add more settings to the app to config the Fiio Q11 more? or is that all the settings its going to have?

Also it seem even tho the Q11 comes with a Iphone OTG cable I had issues with the Fiio Control app on the Apple store detecting the Q11, it only detects the LC-BT1 that I have and not the Q11.

Dear friend,

It does not have lineout port. So you could not bypass the amplifier in it when using headphone out.
But it has a coaxial output port instead.
