I have it run out of my laptop with foobar + asio and the thing distorts on the low end spectrum when it is turned up to even a decent volume. That doesn't happen with my regular headphone out jack out of my laptop. Does the USB out of my laptop have bad signal or is the thing broken?

I say run it on anothe pc and see if that makes a difference. If same results I say it is defective.
