Can you elaborate on how the PEQ will work though... Is it entirely software based and needs to be connected to the FiiO app to be in effect? Or do PEQ settings save to the KA17 itself and will be in effect if used on a PS5 for example?

Probably proprietary as well looking at their latest 2 pin releases but there’s always a way around such things. I’m more interested in the promises of 2023 that haven’t materialised as of yet …. Come on Fiio give us some updates !

Hi, 1. You could adjust the PEQ function via the FiiO Control app. The setting will be saved in KA17 after adjusting.
2. PEQ is currently not supported in UAC1.0 mode. So when using KA17 with PS5 in UAC1.0 mode, PEQ is not supported as well.
