I like the x1 but the pads aren't replaceable. Q701 seems good but I don't know if it has enough bass. I have the ma900 and they have the perfect amount of bass. Is the q701 easily eq able?

Speed and presentation are my main priorities.

Eq able? depends what you use. If you get a darker sounding amp and after a few more hundreds of hours burning in it would get a little warmer and smooth in sound.  Just depends if you want to buy a good amp to get the best out of it. (Note the q701 is a pair of cans that really shine with the right amp)
