  Well, on italian Amazon the new pair cost just 20 euro more so not sure what's up with that.

Always forget to check all the other EU amazons. Only checked amazon.fr (my reasoning being that they might be cheaper in France as a French company).

Yes I used them a few times with positive experiences - only when the item is described as either 'very good' or 'like new'. From my experience 'very good' usually means the box has been opened/damaged but the headphones and everything else are as new. 'Like new' from my experience usually still has the cellophane wrapping.
 
The big negative is that you lose the warranty. I thought it was worth the risk when saving £100 off a pair of headphones that cost £250, but obviously each deal's risk varies depending on cost and how much you save. I wouldn't risk it for £100 off HD800s for example.

What is the usual price for these portable cans? I saw around 30 euros. Does it go any lower than that?
 
It won't be my main can though, I just need something light, portable, open back to use when I am out with my dog, walking with him and all. PX100 II and PortaPro comes to my mind first and I honestly prefer PX100 II over PortaPro.

Yup, I checked on precenoia and apparently 30 euros is the lowest it goes (27 29 euros or around). So I ordered one from amazon.de. It should arrive on Friday or something. Let's hope it will make my walking with dog times more enjoyable. Not that my dog is not good enough, he is the best dog in the world(!) but music makes everything better

I can't use my ciems, I need to hear my environment and all. That's why I had to get something portable and open back and relatively cheap.

It says the price is 60 until you go to checkout where it goes down. you have to choose the black ones.

Actually Studio 3rd Anniv discount could be very good. It is around 360 euros now. If it gets below 300 I might actually buy one.
