Are the ER6C any good? These seem pretty different from the ER6i...

ER6i:16 Ohms and the sensitivity is 108dB/0.126V
ER6C: 48 Ohms Sensitivity92dB S.P.L. at 1KHz

They look like the ER6, but the ER6 is rated 97dB on the official site, and there's no mention of 6C, search here yielded very few results and nothing conclusive.

This would be used with a cheapo mp3 player.

The ER6i are newer and provide better bass reproduction than the ER6 (ER6C).
They also have tri-flange tips which allows deeper insertion, and hence isolation from noise than the ER6.

What about the ER6P? Looks like they also have the double flange instead of triple, are they the same as the ER6/ER6C?

Hmm. Not sure about those.

But looking around on newegg sorta tells me it could be a high-impedance model?
