Not sure if this is a grate price but here it is for whoever wants it.

Ultimate ear upgrade? Macresq has the wallet busting but sweet Shure E5C Dual Driver In-Ear Earphones for $100 off, normally $499.99, this week only $419.99 with $80 off with Q-Pon code "X5C"

Just got my E5 today and paid $349.00 The specs are the same on both E5 and E5C. The only differences that I can see is that the E5C comes with a Level Attenuator, and a different case.

But the e5c does come in a very attract and shiny metal cube...whether that's worth $50 is up to you. But it might be worth $50 to support a Head-Fi sponsor (and HeadRoom has a 10% off Head-Fi member coupon on their $450 Shures).

Good LORD! $625 is a bit outlandish when compared to Shure's own $500 MSRP and the $349 that they are actually selling them for. I am shocked that people even give them a ring to check on a lower price when they set the bar so high initially. Either way, that is a damn good price for an awesome canalphone.

Agreed. I wouldn't have e-mailed them if it were not for a friend who told me of their price beforehand.

For those that are interested, here's the response from sending that e-mail:

Actually it was that same email back to me that I used at the guitar shop to get the price match. When I think about it though the store never asked to see a quote or anything. I had it in the back of my pocket but never took it out.
