You seriously can't even get into that song I linked? Some of his stuff is lackluster...but damn.

Pain on Creation is great. I need to get back into Freeform stuff. I really like the genre. I have a feeling I'll get more when I get back into DJing as I like it more as a 'set' type music than just one song.

I don't like Szahala at all. I prefer Betwixt & Between, Substanced, Pain on Creation, and Leah.

Lots of various Japanese labels have tons of freeform that's usually pretty vastly superior to most european freeform.

Last one before I leave, really solid remix of a song that I already loved:

Hi guys, just stopping by to see if anyone can recommend me some house/electro house.

My absolute favorite house/electro house artists are Capsule (who I owe for getting me into electronic music) and She (his stuff is like house/chiptune combo).

Capsule - "The Music"

She - "Computer Music"

She - "Atomic"

She - "Fuse"

Other stuff is fine too (as long as it isn't dubstep...just not a fan of that). I really dig TOKiMONSTA for instance. I'm currently sifting through the thread as well.

TOKiMONSTA - "Sweet Day"

This is the type of freeform I like:

I really like Capsule as well. This has got to be my favorite toon of theirs. I'll see if I can dig up something you might like. Maybe Genki Rockets for now.

I'll check out those Freeform links later today. Eager to hear them.

Skrillex with sub bass? He must be doing another collab...

Oh, and there's some figure I enjoy but most of it is just...ugh.

EDIT: A better song I can't get out of my head or off my playlist. There's something about the lead that gets me in this one. Plus that Flux rumble.

Really diggin this song!!

I don't know if its been posted yet, but the new Infected Mushroom album "Army of Mushrooms" has comprised all of my listening in the past few weeks.  Here is one of my favorites from there, but I highly recommend checking out the whole album.  They do a great job of mixing high tempo and chilled out tunes.

Interesting side note, the album was produced on Steve Aoki's Dim Mak label.

I still haven't picked up that new Infected Mushroom album yet. Really looking forward to getting it though. Love those guys. Need to fill up my library for them though. Had to trash a few albums of theirs I had in low quality months back.

There is freeform/hardcore in this thread now?  I thought I was one of the few headfi'ers into this genre.

A couple old favorites:

This is technically gabber, but a fun track:

Hardcore / freeform is about all I used to spin 5 years ago.  Hardly any audience for it in Texas, but so much fun.

I tried to do some FINRG / Hardcore / Freeform stuff earlier (like 100 pages ago) but not many people showed interest. It was what I learned to spin with and it still has a soft spot in my heart.

I agree that there's 0 audience for it in Texas, but then again there's hardly any EDM audience down here in general. We get a few Trance shows and a few Dubstep shows. That's it.

This track is awesome, I like the cut of your jib.

It's Hardcore. Speedcore would have much faster kicks. Granted there's a lot of 'noise' that's common with Speedcore there. The actual BPM is much lower than Speedcore though.

Not sure what to call this... Some are calling it hardcore.. I think it's more like some type of speedcore.
