I have an Edirol UA-1A external USB soundcard and have just started using my laptop as a source. I was wondering if an Echo Indigo PCMIA card would be an upgrade from the old UA-1A. I'm also considering USB DACs like the M-audio Audiophile.
I'm using foobar>Edirol UA-1A>Little Dot Micro+>Shure e4g at the moment and I'm thinking of upgrading to a pair of AKG k701s as well as a decent amp soon. Thanks for your help and for making me poorer.
