Hey again, Head-Fi,

I haven't been here in a while.

I'm in the UK, budget's around £40.

Kinda out of the loop with regards to what's new, what's a deal, etc.

Anyhow she's looking for in-ear headphones. She's new to them so I'd like to put comfort first, and decent bass/clarity a tied second.

Since I'm putting comfort first, sibilance or overly-bright headphones wouldn't be ideal.

Preferably not from a supplier that takes two weeks to deliver things.

We can always get Comply tips later on.

What do you suggest?

Thanks for reading!

If IEMs are ok, perhaps the Etymotic Research MC5?  These are about $60 at Amazon (US).

Will she listening via iPod, or similar device?

Comfort/clarity, smooth treble - sounds like the E30s (Soundmagic).http://www.amazon.co.uk/Soundmagic-E30-BK-SoundMAGIC-E30-Earphones/dp/B005HJ38OO
