After way too long I finally bit the bullet and decided on the E.A.R. 834P phonostage as my upgrade.

So anyone experiment with different tubes, power cords, isolation devices and if so what results good or bad did you get?
Thanks in advance.

(Why do I always seem to order things on a Friday night or the week before xmas? I like waiting?

Excellent phono stage - congrats!!!

There is much info at audioasylm in the vinyl forums for this piece. It's been a while since I had mine but I didn't do any mods other than tube rolling, which the 834P is very responsive to.

Thanks guys.
I do remember seeing a "semi-official" mod guide to the 834P at AA once. I'll search. I am going to get to know it first before messing with it.
