nvm
bloody hell, DX90 is not letting me revert back to the older 2.0 firmware, saying no firmware is found, i'm stuck with this uninspiring new sound until ibasso improve it in later firmware... Except that there was nothing that needed improving in the sound of the original firmware, way to go ibasso...
Maybe you should try flashing it with RKbatchtool, I think it should work. Someone posted link to "DX90 Tools" few post earlier.

I'm downloading the original firmware. Will post if it success or not.
Mind you that this could result in a bricked device, if they have changed the security key. Depends on how they implemented Android, locked or unlocked bootloader, new bootloader in new firmware etc.
Don't say I didn't warn you.
It's linked-through at the very start of the thread, now, but here's the link anyway:

Report: Jobs done. Revert back to 2.0.0 FW
edit: The ss of the original FW is way better than the 2.0.5.
Hope the 2.0.5 is just a beta firmware like the 1.23beta on DX50.
Are you a programmer? (genuine question)

Good to know that it worked. For now I think I'll stay on 2.0.0. Nothing wrong with that IMHO.
did you use rkbatchtool or just the normal method?
rkbatchtool. Since you stated that the normal method doesnt work out
