Now, the only thing left is to listen to it...
Power/volume knob is gold - if it was silver then the amp headphone connector plates would also be silver. If they were mismatched colors there would be pages.

From the image it looks silver and that would go with the lettering on the back. I am more interested in hearing it! :^) Sure looks nice, very finished looking and quality. Now to the sound!
The lettering on the back of the current DX300 is silver and due to the bright lighting the volume knob looks silver.

We had a self described headfi lurker (nice to meet you!) stop by who owns a DX240 and he said it fits somewhere between that and the DX300. Good dynamics and a musical midrange. Build quality is solid.

Those were made to Rake in views and make money.
It was made in the most flawed way possible to pull people curiosity
1/ digital imagery, different sensor, algorithms, filters, will result in different colors
2/ the color in itself was already so close in spectrum
But nowadays , everyone is easily fascinated by anything from the internet.
What surprise me though, is that people accepted the differences between digital imagery existed, and yet don’t believe digital audio can also have it differences
