So multiple places that specifically list it as a hybrid are wrong, eh? That's just obnoxious. I remember reading about it before release and getting excited because it was specifically referred to as a hybrid earbud, annoying misinformation.

Thanks for the share about the Astrotecs. Cool! But I think I have a mental block with earbuds. I just can't spend that much money on them and $160+ is a little steep even knowing the technology I guess. 
 
I just associate buds with free airline earphones, mp3 players, etc LOL. But still very interested with the DUNUs.

I also was thinking the same after I saw the Lyra's, are you sure itisn't the description just omitting the BA's? Because even Penonaudio have it listed as such http://penonaudio.com/Astrotec-Lyra

I basically resigned to the information being misleading. Whether it is one or not, I'm very much looking forward to Dunu's attempt. Depending on the price I'll buy it right away like I did Hifiman's new earbud.
