So I'm at a loss really. They are out of warranty so returning them isn't an option.

For some reason my right headphone rattles within a certain frequency, at all volumes but more noticable at higher volumes.
I've checked for hairs and couldn't find any, I will attach photos of the inside of the earcup in case anyone here knows what might be wrong.

Thanks for your help guys.

One really easy and free thing to try is cut a circle of toilet paper and put it over the driver so it overlaps enough that the locking ring pinches down on it solid. I usually do it on those to curb the treble peak, but if it's causing vibration on the locking ring then it might help as well.
On my MMX300 I had that problem just when Madonna hit lower notes and the paper trick helped with treble but also stopped the reasonating buzz at that frequency too.

I tested it while the driver and membrane weren't being held by the retaining ring and it still rattled, so I don't think it's the ring rattling that's causing the problem.
