I have the same adapter. In fact, I think Peter "prototyped" the 3D printer washer on my own. The previous versions he sent via Telegram me looked way more DIY, tbh. And indeed - very transparent sounding adapter. Top marks. He's a good dude, it's just a question of catching him at the right moment...So I just got an adapter from DHC and the condition of the adapter doesn't look too good. Is it suppose to look like this? It's got like a grey stone like abrasive washer before the 6.3mm termination. I thought they were suppose to look like what was advertised on their page. The outer shell of the female xlr is in rough shape as well.
But it sounds decent? On par or better than a adapter I had ordered before online. I don't know, was just expecting something that looked like one of their ultrashort adapters on their page. I guess they don't have one designed around 4 pin female to 6.3mm? Its sounding on par or better than my previous one makes me feel a little better though...

Agreed. The quality of the adapter is worth the wait. I would recommend these adapters solely based off of their sound quality. I like the affinity cable adapters from ebay, but the DHC adapter is the best I've heard.I have the same adapter. In fact, I think Peter "prototyped" the 3D printer washer on my own. Does anybody try both dhc chimera vs dana lazuli nirvana for any impression? I saw the chimera is even more expensive than the nirvana which I thought it was the most expensive headphone cable.

Aster 13 weeks i got my adapters. The wait is worth it. Only i feel them longer than expected
Looks like long adapters, when you move neck cables will rub your shoulders. I have audeze to hifiman adapter, but stopped using it for this problem.

Here is a picture of my Audeze mini-DIN to 3.5mm adapter with the Complement C.
I use these in bed at night and have no issue with the adapters rubbing.

Anybody heard from Peter in a while? He printed a shipping label 1.5 months ago and there's still no activity on the shipment. Multiple emails have gone unanswered.
