as per title really,

i have completed the flash card mod and all works ok, on charging the ipod up it says its charging, sometimes it goes to fully charged, sometimes not. On unplugging it always seems about 80%-90% full

Battery was fine before doing the mod

Any ideas?

cheers

Well it could just be the way the program monitors the power consumption. The SD card would take a bit of power, so the software could just be confused on how much power it actually has.

Try to charge it up to 100 percent (or what used to be 100%) and let it run through your whole play list so that the battery can completely drain. Time how long it takes for the ipod to do this. Go online and if it is a tad below the advertised speed, then be happy and just ignore your battery bar. If it is WAYYYY off. I would get a new battery that is rated for a bit more watt hours.
